I am someone who values human-centered stories; reviewing, analyzing, and interviewing with the intention of bringing the unknown to light.

I've spent the past several years writing for the Panther Prowler, where I've covered everything from local agricultural communities and public health to literary criticism and personal essays. I believe the best journalism comes from the heart with collaboration and passion.

My writing is shaped by a conviction that language, when used carefully, can close the distance between people. I'm drawn to stories that resist easy resolution and that are constantly ongoing. With everything I write, I write with the intention of storytelling and communicating important information that's digestible for all readers and backgrounds.
